How we met
We met online and after some initial conversations decided to have our first date night downtown. However Karen had a hard time speaking as she had lost her voice from the previous night's karaoke, and Stephen had a hard time hearing over the loud bar music. It seemed hopeless for a second. But we both agreed to move the conversation someplace quieter and that’s when things clicked. We ended up talking all night long. And lucky for us, the rest is history.

One of our favorite things to do together is visit Salt & Straw to try their latest flavors. We’re big food lovers and are always on the lookout for new places to explore—usually finding hidden gems through social media. Whether it’s a trendy new restaurant or a cozy local spot, we love sharing delicious experiences together!

One of our most memorable dates was two months in when we took our first day trip to Half Moon Bay. Everything just clicked. He brought the sun umbrella, and I brought the picnic blanket, and together, we spent the day on the beach, simply enjoying each other’s company.
